Japanese Calligraphy Workshop

書道ワークショップを３月１３日（日）から始めます！
サンフランシスコのSOMAにある素敵なスペースEnsomaで、少人数制でわきあいあいと、初心者向けのワークショップです。まず第一弾は、年齢 ● レベルを問わず、基本的な技法からルールなどを紹介し、実際に実践練習をします。道具や紙などは当日用意されていますので、自分の文鎮代わりになるもの（小さな石や、空の香水ボトルなどが最適です）、そして長時間快適に座る為に必要であれば小さなクッションを持って来てください。マイ筆が欲しい方は、ワークショップ当日に自分が使った筆を買う事が出来ます。
人数が限られていますので、出来るだけ早めにサインアップしてください！

In this hands-on workshop, a Japanese calligrapher Aoi Yamaguchi will demonstrate how to enjoy writing Japanese characters with a brush and sumi-ink.  The class is designed for the beginner’s level, but experienced artists are also welcome to join!

Please bring your own paperweight (small stones, empty perfume bottles are perfect) and small pillow to sit on. Other materials will be provided.  You can buy a brush at the workshop if you would like to own one!  Please register from the link at the bottom of this post.
