Surreality in Reality Crew is plowing its way over the water in persuit of the second element among Four Elements of nature: Water, Fire, Earth and Wind. In summer, the balance of the equinox is offset in the race towards the solstice. While the days become longer, the fire of the Sun in Summertime replenishes the planet. Appreciating the fire as a source of life on the earth, this series of art exhibitions and live performances will be presented by Japanese local talents, known as S.I.R., showcasing their artistic interpretation of “fire” in various media. Join us and fire the imagination of your creative mind!

Finally, we have finished the design of the flyer for the next SIR show – Four Elements vol. 2 FIRE.
The design is done by Junko Maegawa, who always brings a mind-refreshing image that defines the theme of the show.
For this exhibition, I will be exhibiting my calligraphy works in collaboration with Akko, the photographer / graphic designer who is one of the SIR members and my soulmate. Also I will be painting live with Noa- as usual, but the final outcome of the painting piece will be something new for sure because he’s touring Japan right now – I’m sure he’s gonna be powered up by great experiences surrounded by inspirational artists from the trip. Oh I can’t wait to see how long his sennin-like beard have grown…
When I was writing the introduction for the promotional info, it made me think the importance of fire for the revolution of human being.
Fire is definitely one of the the essential elements that keeps us alive.

That’s what I need.
That’s what makes me to stand on this planet straight.
It’s good to keep myself busy, because it reminds me of the necessity of “creating”.
Creation is the reflection of inner-self.
We need to keep on going, keep creating, keep expressing; then you will discover something that you have never seen in yourself.
