work in progressHop, step, jump… Write, struggle, write, new ideas sparkle in my head, write, and struggle. I have been working on caligraphy works for my solo installation at Guerilla Cafe for past several weeks. I kept staying up until 4 to 5am for a week straight and I finally had nervous breakdown last night… It’s a good lesson for me: never neglect your health. I’m drinking a Rooibos tea to reset my mind and started feeling better. I know what to do next.

This Monday, SIR crew and I went to Dohatsuten, the Japanese restaurant that I mentioned in the previous post, and installed art works on the wall. I wrote a calligraphy work for the restaurant- it says “天井知ラズ”, which is actually the economical term meaning that the stock goes up and never stops. Like this word, I hope that this art will gather fortune to this restaurant!

Framed piece looks like this: adding a nice flavor to the restaurant’s atmosphere…

There will be an opening party at Dohatsuten coming Sunday, from 5pm-Midnight. Food will be provided from the kitchen… can’t wait!
