UNiBIRTH Portrait series in the autumnal woods

This is a series of photography of myself wrapped in a chiffon fabric with calligraphy painting from the live performance project “UNiBIRTH” in 2012. This portrait series is conceptualized based on the theme of “UNiBIRTH”, which celebrates the reincarnation of lives that exist in nature and signifies the infinite cycle of the universe. It is an experimental art project in an attempt to make myself being the protagonist of the story, and for my body, concept written in poetic form in calligraphy, and my pure existence as a human to be reunited with nature.
Executed by two short human beings, a calligrapher / artist Aoi Yamaguchi, and a photographer / artist May Xiong.
